Our team consists of highly qualified and committed physiotherapists, speech therapists, neurologists and rehabilitation physicians who all specialize in brain function and its ability to recover and restore lost functions after injury or illness. Hedla's staff are continuously trained in the latest research findings and participate in various research projects regarding neurological rehabilitation. Our vision is to be able to share with us the tools that lead to the best possible progress, with the participant and their conditions, needs and goals in the center.
Chief physician and specialist in rehabilitation medicine at Norrland University Hospital. Anna is also professor of public health at Umeå University and professor of sports science at the Arctic University in Tromsö. She leads several international research projects where science, care, innovation and users meet to promote healthy aging and technology that can facilitate everyday life in chronic diseases and functional impairments.
Over the years, she has worked with people and service in a variety of different forms. Passionate about creating individually tailored solutions based on each participant's needs and wishes, to make the stay at Hedla as safe and rewarding as possible.

Between programs at Hedla, she works as an investigator of language, reading and writing difficulties at Capio Läkargrupp in Örebro.
Industrial doctoral student with extensive experience in the design and implementation of intensive neurological rehabilitation. Responsible for an ongoing research study regarding aphasia and speech practice in collaboration with Uppsala University, Karolinska Institutet and Málaga University.
